To whom it may concern,
I, Igor Petrenko, am interested in applying for a non-paid work experience position within your organisation. To create a stepping stone into my future I have decided the best option to further my learning, gain a full understanding of what is involved in my career and build up experience, is to dedicate some time to a company and in return work for no charge. Following completing a period of work experience, I will continue on to search for paid work.
Throughout my life I have completed a number of Art courses consisting of a 4 Year course in Art school in Ukraine. After moving to New Zealand 10 years ago, I have pursued different options for a career, including the AUT Bachelor of Business. During this course, I have come to realise that my true calling was for Art. I have completed my 1st year of a Bachelor of Art and Design at the Whitecliffe College and as a side project to further my skills, I have been learning and gaining experience in Adobe Photoshop CS5 and In Design.
As you can see from my attached resume profile, I am a skilled Artist who thoroughly enjoys spending time creating personal masterpieces. I have great pride in my ability and would like to take my skill set to the next level.
Given the opportunity to complete my work experience within your organisation, I feel that I can contribute greatly to the graphic design department and grow as both an artist and in person.
