The two main tools we focus on are listening and emotionally understanding your relationship to the other characters in the scene. We’ll touch on other skills to help you own your auditions and performances as a whole.

You’ll also receive support materials on:

  • Understanding the film & television industry
  • Do’s and don’ts in the audition room
  • How to create more audition or job opportunities for yourself
  • Getting an agent & then nurturing that relationship
  • Preparing for an audition or role

These performances are within you... it's just a matter of releasing it.

The Film Performance Intensive will focus on:

  • Listening
  • Relationship
  • Focus & Camera Awareness
  • Making bold choices for presentation
  • Belief in yourself and your performance

We'll also cover and go over and over preparation: what's required and how to motivate yourself to do it.  We'll do this again and again until it is ingrained in you.  Finally we'll do some dream-scoping and vision boarding for what kinds of film and television projects you want to create for yourself in order to exercise these new skills.  So, you'll get more than just camera or performance skills to take away from this course... it will give you a vision and mission statement for 2010's creative calendar specific to your dreams and goals.

  • Do’s and dont's in the audition room
