Sheridan Dickson
I have been worked in the fine arts and design industries in both New Zealand and London.
I am and experienced senior Account / Project Manager in both the New Media and Design fields and also spent several years working in the museum industry - most notiably as Collection Manager of the National Art Collection at Te Papa. I am currently working as part of Auckland Council's Public Art team.
Since leaving Te Papa I worked with some of the leading design companies in New Zealand and the United Kingdom, managing brand identity development, new media and integrated design projects - before returning "client-side" to Tourism New Zealand in 2006.
I gained my major in Sculpture from Otago School of Art and have continued to develop skills outside of the workplace in Life Drawing, HTML coding, web usability, Te Reo and Tikanga Maori, and technical writing.
