Eden has written for many of NZ's leading choreographers directors over the past decade including Malia Johnston - Rifleman Productions, Auckland Theatre Company, Maria Dabrowska, Atamira Dance, Okareka Dance, Michael Parmenter, Sarah Foster etc.
His music has been commissioned for companies like Zoomslide Media, Radiation, 42 Below, MTV, C4 TV, TV3 and licensed to MGM, CBS, Hamish & Andy, Home & Away - to name a few.

The creative team of Mulholland Sound is headed by Eden Mulholland, one of New Zealand’s most respected and prolific composers in Theatre, Dance, Film and Television sound design. Acclaimed both as a musician and songsmith in multiple genres and styles, Eden brings experience, focus and passion to his work. Our signature is music of unique, memorable identity – songs that are rich, sensitive to motif, and dynamic in texture. We design music that expresses the intention of a brief and to this end work closely with our clients. Our aim is to achieve compelling music that complements and enhances projects and ideas.

Mulholland Sound Ltd (Eden Mulholland - Composer)Eden Mulholland has had a less conventional path in music - as a former contemporary dancer, Eden has a unique and experimental approach to composition - the results of which are often challenging, satisfying and dramatically charged. Vocally a bit of a chameleon and with a weird back catalogue of music written for theatre and dance, Eden does his take on pop music of the future; complete with strange voices, ripped apart rhythms and momentary flashes from ethereal orchestras.
Eden is also the singer and writer for pop group Motocade, who regularly tour overseas and recently showcased in New York as part of CMJ festival. The song Tightrope Highway is to be featured in MGM's 2012 film Cabin in the Woods. Holy Moly has featured heavily on Home and Away and Hamish & Andy TV, also appearing in American series Life Unexpected. Holy Moly spent 8 weeks in the top 40 charts in NZ.
Eden founded Mulholland Sound Ltd in 2009 with his wife Erynne Mulholland.
