Denita Tizard
Denita is a New Zealand contemporary artist that paints large, vibrant abstract artworks designed to bring happiness and love into any home. The influences in her paintings come from people, nature, love, music, and her spiritual connection to the world.
Denita is also a collector of art and has started a personal collection of art that has taken her eye and heart.
Painting
Denita has worked in:
the art industry - firstly as a visual artist, then opening a working studio, the Paint Pit, where up to 5 artists worked alongside each other. Opening a gallery next door to the studio, the Quayhole Gallery were she exhibited local, national and international artists.
the hairdressing industry - KMS Haircare as an education coordinator. Denita attended hairdressing college in Palmerston North and was awarded 1st in practical for her class.
The film industry - ADM Casting, as the office manager and helping out on D-Day when needed.
IT industry - Amdox, as the personal assistant to the manager. Tizard Design, taught website design and currently update http://www.wanganui.org.
and food & retail - Glenn Innes Bin Inn, Store manager for 2 years, running a staff of 11. Pakuranga Pizza Hut as a duty manage.
Denita is also very community minded and has been involved with voluntary associations to help build better communities.
