My name is Ben Cowper of Cowps Productions in Gisborne. I am a local camera operator and film maker.
I can offer you the following sevices; filming and editing of weddings, sports events, special occasions, promotion DVDs, training, music videos and more.
Experienced at setting up and use of Television and Video Equipment. Ability to follow instructions and work quickly and efficiently to ensure standards are met. Experienced at operation of camera equipment and liaison with production. Experienced with sound mixers and boom operation. Experienced with setting up lighting. In 2004 I completed my Diploma in Film and Television at The Eastern Institute of Technology, Hawkes Bay.
My Camera Operator experience started shortly afterwards in Wellington working for production companies and ultimately TVNZ for a year.
In 2007 I moved back to Gisborne and worked at Matapuna Training Centre tutoring the Film and Television class.
In 2008 -2010 my role was to direct music videos for the music class at Matapuna . I also work for Ilminster Intermediate making videos like a school Promotional DVD
2011 This year I plan to continue working at Ilminster and Matapuna and run my Business Cowps Productions
Diploma in Film and Television at The Eastern Institute of Technology, Hawkes Bay. Prior to this I spent one year at Matapuna Training Centre, Gisborne studying Video Technology under the tuition of Pat Makiri. At the end of my year I was awarded the Dr Kevin Makin Scholarship
