Miriam Barr

Miriam Barr is a poet and performer with a background in psychology.

Activities:

Creative director of The Literatti since 2007 and one of the founding members of the performance poetry group combining theatre, music and poetry.  

Creator and editor of Side Stream, a free monthly poetry publication.  Ran NZ's first Poetry Brothel.  

Co-organiser and MC at Poetry Live, Auckland's longest running live poetry venue.
