This is to confirm
that Helen Mays was employed with my previous company for a period of 18 months
until May 1993

Helen was employed
as a Branch/Sales Manager to deal with key clients and to increase sales.

As she had the
ability to deal on a one to one basis with clients, we used her strengths of
marketing, budgeting, initiating meetings with prospective clients, who were
all owners of businesses, to the maximum.

We found that
Helen’s ability to get along with people and to build the image of our company
were invaluable to us and for us. Her roles were to communicate in writing to
our clients or deal directly with them.

If they needed a
business plan, media plans or any P.R, she was able to fulfil this function
with skill. She had to organise meetings with small business seminars of which
were carried out extremely well.

As our company was
Business Consultants, key personnel had to be knowledgeable with all aspects of
liaising with people and giving advice.

We found that Helen
encouraged very strong loyalty and teamwork from her staff. Her work was always
of the highest standard, allowing us to get on with running the Auckland
branch. She was very trustworthy and honest, having signing authority on our
cheque account.

I would therefore
highly recommend Helen for any position where these skills would be utilised.
