Heidi Nobel

I am a 22 year old Makeup Design and Production student. I graduate end of October. I currently reside in Christchurch. My home town however is Hastings, Hawkes Bay. I am also open to moving to Wellington. So I am currently free to move wherever work may find me. :)

I am keen to get in to freelance makeup. Whether it be bridal, theatre or film I'm excited to try it all!

I also succesfully completed a hairdressing course in 2007 ('Certificate in hairdressing-salon support).

Key skills: 

Makeup design and production:

In my course we covered things like: Basic tv presenter makeup, bridal, fashion, avante garde, print catalogue, period makeup, wig styling, hairups (and a lot of other hair skills), body art, introduction to prosthetics (great fun!) and more.

Certificate in Hairdressing Salon Support

Here I learnt skills such as: Hairups/styling, fingerwaving, foils and colour work, client consultation. And so much more.

I also have a background in Retail. I am confident on computers, Have a few years latin american dance experience, Can speak Dutch, and I have a strong eye for detail, which I hope you'll see when viewing some of my work in my facebook group.

    Greetings all and thank you for checking out my profile.

    I am an almost qualified makeup student. I am keen to get in to more work experience and freelance work :).

    Most recently, I have been a makeup assistant in a short film. I helped with hair, keeping the models looking fresh and of course ensuring continuity.

    In May this year I participated in my first fashion show. Here I made up 5 different models for two fashion students. One of which is displayed in my profile. I am in the process of coming up with exciting new creations for our next show and am looking forward to that!

    I'm am keen to get in to all genres of work, be it for a photo shoot, wedding, theatre work, film etc. I want to have a taste of it all! I hope you enjoy browsing over some of the work I have produced. And if you like what you see, by all means send me a message! :)
