Anne Challinor
I have been studying photography for the past four years at Wintec Hamilton and graduated this year with a Bachelor of Media Arts (Honours) First Class Honours. I am currently on contract with the Waikato DHB as medical photographer. On 1 October I am launching into full-time freelance photography.
The study of photographic and art theory, coupled with practical application of photography across a wide range of genres, has expanded and enhanced my view of the world and all things in it .
I have great passion for photographing the land and its people. My image-making covers a wide range of genres from traditional landscapes to fine art digital work. I am committed to preserving our history and promoting local communities, and feel photography is an excellent medium to achieve this.
The art of photography is an ongoing process –through meeting new people and undergoing new experiences I am constantly evolving my photographic techniques and challenging my knowledge of who we are, as individuals and as members of society.
