I worked at Bound to Last for 8 years, where I was team leader, organising the bindery and people in it, as well as being hands on in production, and mind on with clients.
I spent almost a year working as part of the production team at Lisa Hoskin Design.
Now I work part-time as the Book Binding Technician at AUT, and running my own binding business.

Louise JamesI started book binding in 2001, and fell in love with the craft. I learned a style of binding that blends the traditional with a lot of design aesthetics. I don't so much like using the word craft, as the designs I make are very streamlined and can be quite corporate, but can also be fun and funky. I am the book binding technician at AUT university, and have just started my own company called "The Binding Studio." My master plan is world domination via presentation and books!
