Hilleke Doevendans
With close to ten years experience working in television, film and the corporate/education sectors, I've got a raft of useful skills up my sleeve.
I started out, many years ago, as a researcher/production coordinator by day and assistant editor by night. I've refined my skills since, with a 2-year stint as a post-production Facilities Manager overseas, working as a full-time editor, occasional DVD author and habitual designer.
I'm regularly able to find creative solutions, understand the depths of a story and not too shabby with a computer; I understand the importance of a trusting relationship between director/producer and editor and also the importance of a good cup of coffee!
I'm currently coming to the end of my second season working on a children's TV show and am looking for new challenges - be they short or long term.
I primarily work with Final Cut and the Adobe Suite, but am willing to dust off my Avid skills for longer-term work.
Super-organised, highly efficient, a problem solver and lateral thinker, my experience working as an editor/designer give me a uniquely thorough knowledge of all things post and production. I pay excellent attention to detail, have a great work ethic and am someone you can rely on. I am a natural problem solver and a lateral thinker; I find creative solutions in almost any situation. I excell when challenged and always get the job done.
