Emily Hlavac Green
Currently my research surrounds the area where photography and cinema collide, and the relationship between still and moving image. I explore the influence of narrative and hyper real aesthetics in photography, leading me to experiment with cinematic cliché, role play, strange locations and unconventional capture techniques to tell bold stories through rich textures.
I engage in collaborative projects that have a link through to multi-dimensional technology, cinematic narrative and truth in photography.
My focus is primarily on exhibiting photographic works in a way which comprehensively and deeply engages the audience.
