Duties and Responsibilites:

  • Candy Bar: Fast pace service, upselling, cash handling/EFTPOS, cashing up, preparing orders, cleaning tasks, making ice creams.
  • Floor: ushering, cleaning tasks, carrying stock between floors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Entertaining customers in polite and warm manner, and taking action to correct any problems or requests
  • Understanding menu items and explaining ingredients and/or cooking methods at customer’s request.
  • Informing customers of daily specials and up-selling particular items on the menu.
  • Taking and serving meal/beverage orders (including wine service).
  • Carrying out cleaning and stock-up tasks in service areas.
  • Answering phone and taking reservations, or providing restaurant, bar or function room information.
  • Training new restaurant employees and maintaining a strong work relationship with fellow wait, bar and kitchen staff.
  • Providing beverage, meal and snack service for functions of 20 – 60 guests with one other staff member.
