To Whom it may Concern
Tony Kovacs - Camera operator/editor and all round great bloke
I am the director of a video production company called Courtenay and until recently was the co-director of another similar company, Projected Images, the latter specialising in corporate video and Courtenay specialising in the premium end of wedding coverage. Both businesses have been running successfully for 20 years but due to some serious health issues I have virtually retired from the day to day operations.
Tony Kovacs had been employed as a freelance editor/cameraman from time to time so when I needed help in keeping my business running, I turned to Tony for help.
Tony has been of great assistance and stepped up to the plate when it came to editing part finished projects and took over the logistics of shooting and delivering a final product to a very high standard. His ability to deal with customers at both corporate and personal level has been exceptional and he has a tenacity for project completion that compliments his friendly style.
I realise that Tony needs more work than I can give him and this is the purpose of this reference, to allay any fears that potential employers or companies may have in Tony's abilities to deliver.
He understands pace and style and has no issues with client changes, he just gets on with the job!
Should you wish to talk to me further then please call me on Auckland 418 2522 and I wish Tony the very best.

To whom it may concern
Tony Kovacs worked for Projected Images on an “as required” contract basis from April 2008 – December 2008.
During this period he completed a number of key tasks including;
- Camera operation – Corporate and Conference
- Post Production – Final Cut Pro
- Director
As well as the usual range of ancillary tasks that fall to technical staff in a small team.
Although Tony was not familiar with Final Cut at the outset, he quickly became so and operated in a competent manner.
The role also meant that Tony was required to deal with clients directly on site, most comprehensively during a corporate shoot in a live supermarket environment and he completed this with ease and confidence.
We wish Tony well.
Regards
Nigel Burrows
