Greetings! My name is Evelyn Doyle, I consider coffee a major food group, and Apple products make me so excited I almost wee a little.
I couldn't decide which of my two loves—graphic design and creative writing—to develop into a career, so I fed them both, making myself into a creative chimera of the Australasian seas.
My computer superpowers are in Adobe software—Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Dreamweaver, and Bridge. My skills in creative writing and English comprehension are the result of having visited a library once a week since I was old enough to hold a book upside-down, and later from making up stories to bribe reward my sisters for not annoying me during the day.

It's been more than 20 years since I made my mark on the creative scene of my parents' wallpaper, and things have only been getting better. I've enjoyed two years in Australia doing a mix of in-house and freelance design, creating DVD disc and cover art, magazine spreads and various printed sundries. There I applied my writing skills to write advertising copy for a client business, in conjunction with its promotional artwork.
In New Zealand my writing had the more enjoyable direction of witty blogs (delivered with a spoon of sugar to sweeten its satire), and contributions to a youth magazine about technology in careers.
I won a bottle of French wine on a Singapore Airlines flight after the pilot set a poetry competition because the in-flight entertainment system was busted. (Poem here: http://www.evelyndoyle.com/writing/singaporeairlinepoem.html)
The poem was uniquely presented on an authentic airline serviette.
