Tammy Stretton worked at vicbooks as Shop Floor Manager from 3 September 2007 to 22 January 2010.

During this time her duties comprised staff recruitment, training and supervision and rostering for multiple part time staff as well as ensuring the smooth day to day running of the shop floor.

She had buying responsibility for a number of small departments which included greeting cards and gift wrap; magazines, sweets and snack foods and service items such as postage, ticketing and book tokens. In addition she was responsible for developing university branded memorabilia.

In her role as Shop Floor Manager Tammy was expected to communicate the vision and goals of the company through regular staff meetings. These meetings were also used to focus on customer service training and increasing product knowledge.

She managed our twice yearly rush by recruiting additional staff, organising security, and managing the crowds whilst ensuring our high standards of customer service were maintained.

Tammy leaves us to travel overseas and we wish her every success along the way.
