Julie Clark
Art and creativity have always been a constant and a passion my life. In it I find release, clarity and satisfaction. I’m a practical person and love getting in there and making things. Combine this with my geek like knowledge and love of film in particular old black and whites, horrors from the late 80s and early 90s. Mix in a tendency to think outside the square and Tadarr you have 1 girl who loves art and the process that goes into making something a little bit out there and unexpected.
I enjoy character development in all aspects and have an understanding of the process it takes from a concept art piece the to final product. I enjoy making the props and costumes through to the makeup and wig work needed to complete the look. I also understand the importance of continuity.
I live for the projects I work on and immerse myself in them 100%. Prosthetics is my number one passion I want to master this craft and not only make it my career but also my life. I grew up watching characters brought to life by Dick Smith, Tom Savini and Greg Nicotero. I am drawn to the darker creatures these masters tend to create.
I Have a strong work ethic and will work my butt off for you in any thing you ask me to do and will do it to the best of my ability. This is what I want to spend the rest of my life doing or -- as long as I still have the use of my hands
