Art:Practicing artist for 10 years I currently sell work in New Zealand and overseas. I work in a variety of mediums including watercolour, acrylic and oil. From time to time I have exhibitions and will have another one in April at Nathan Homestead in Papatoetoe. All work can be purchased from my online gallery www.beautifulnzart.co.nz. I am inspired but New Zealand landscape and get a coming home feel from the landscape.
In addition I have illustrated for books and instructional material. My illustrated book is for sale at UBS and Parsons bookshop. The book Two Kiwis in Hong Kong is a coffee table book with short stories and poems about leaving New Zealand to live and work in Hong Kong written by a family member and illustrated by myself.
Two Kiwis in Hong Kong abstract
Work and family ties took writer Patricia Gregson and illustrator Sarah - Jane Smith to Hong Kong and now aunt and niece conbine to recall their memories of Hong Kong during the 1990's-sometimes humorous-sometimes nostalgic-but always with a heart-beat still back home in New Zealand.
Some of the chapters are as follows:Song of a Dolorous Kiwi
Sunny or Sunday
The Hong Kong Blues
Out Back O' Yuen Long
Sang Froid
and many more..
