Laura Dunkley

At the moment I am working hard at gaining experience in the film Industry here in Wellington.  I have worked on 2 films so far, one including the V48HOURS where i was the sound recordist and worked on all the sound in post production and a short film 'The Lake' where i was the Boom Op.
In 2009/2010 I completed both Certificate and Diploma in Sound Engineering/Music Production and gained 2 excellence awards in Multimedia and Electronic Music Production.I then went on into my 1st job as a sound designer at CerebralFix (Game developing company) In Christchurch.
I am looking at relocating to Auckland to pursue a career in the sound industry.

I helped out with the sound recording in this short film that was shot over 3 days as the Boom Operator and location sound recordist.

I have worked on a broad range of titles across various platforms in my time in the games industry which include:

Trailer Trash: iphone, facebook

During my time with these two companies I managed all my work independently, built an extensive sound library and had the chance to become Sound Manager and design a full sound studio later on in the year. Unfortunately because of the earthquake, I had to leave and because most of the games were still in production, I don't have much to show.
