'Water Garden' acrylic painting by Jayne Maria Sprott

I am an artist living in Kerikeri. I developed my love of New Zealand scenery and native birds while living in the Far North and Bay of Islands.Inspired by the stunning landscape and unspoiled coastline I aim to capture my surroundings for all to enjoy and treasure. My work includes acrylic, mixed media and watercolour paintings, printmaking and photography. I have had numerous solo exhibitions, participated in group exhibitions, and won several awards. I established an art school in Doubtless Bay in 1994, and now tutor in Kerikeri. Many of my paintings are commissions and much of my art is in corporate and private collections in New Zealand and overseas. I have reproduced selected works as limited editions, mounts, cards and blocks. My husband Mike and I are members of Origin Art & Craft collectve in Kerikeri where I showcase my work.
