DIGITIZER/MACHINE EMBROIDERER

Since 2005 I have learnt to digitize embroidery designs for myself and others in domestic and commercial formats. I specialize in one off designs such as wedding/formal dress, commemorative hangings, material. I also provide and embroidery services for small businesses digitizing and embroidering company logos on garments of their choice.

Key skills:

I enjoy the challenge of working from 2D original art work to produce an embroidery with a 3D essence using the stitch direction, texture and colour.

Formal qualifications:

Massey University (internal/extramural) 1999: Diploma in Business Studies (Management)

Work history:

6 years as a small business owner digitizing and embroidering designs for domestic and commercial purposes.

5 years as a small business owner advising on general financial management of up to 45 small business.

10 Years as a Naval Officer in the Supply and Secretariat field gaining experience in finance, administration and personnel management, product procurement.

Creative achievements:

I have created my own line of T shirt designs which I sell through NZique in Jackson Street, Petone. I also sell my designs online through my own website along with embroidery/patchwork notions for the home sewer/embroiderer.
