Sharon Vandermerwe
Sharon Vandermerwe (BA, Dip Project Management) trained in RAD, Ceccetti and Vaganova ballet styles, and danced for ballet companies in Johannesburg, South Africa. Her roles included Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Gulnare (Le Corsaire), Peter (Peter and the Wolf), Sylph (La Sylphide), Gala solos including Raymonda and Paquita, and contemporary and experimental ballets in annual Dance Umbrella festivals. Sharon currently teaches classical ballet variations at Auckland Uni and PASNZ, and offers private ballet technique classes. She specialises in teaching adult dancers at an open level.

You will find positive encouragement, safe injury-free and inspiring ballet classes, and at your own discretion you can learn or re-learn pointe work, and of course perform in one of our many shows. You are guaranteed to make wonderful new friends who love to dance, and who are supportive, caring and enthusiastic.

Usual cost $12.00 per class
Concession card available: $90 for 10 classes
Classes are casual and recreational. No contracts : )
