Hi , My name is Lora Thompson and I am outgoing, organized and enthusiastic person who is currently looking for work in the events industry. I have a Bachelor of Music Production with Honors , and 6 years experience in technician/event/ hire admin roles within the industry. I am currently based in Hamilton , but am happy to re-locate for an exciting job opportunity!

In 2011 first overseas touring experience as a muscian, small bar venues in melbourne.

in 2009 recorded and mixed commercially released standard music CD for band Wretch

2008-2011 have set-up, designed and  operated sound and lights for hundreds of successful small- medium size events , including New Years 2010 The SandBar Waiheke Island for King Kapisi, with Above Productions ltd, Also lighting for Dave Dobbyn 2011 at Waikato University Dinner, Set-up/monitors for Frankie Stevens at Claudelands Events centre 2011 with Vidcom ltd.

I have also organized a number of successful small gigs and NZ tours with my own musical endeavours
