AIRBRUSHING/ART:
I have completed Tony Vowels Airbrush Venturi photo rendering and portraiture course in 2006, and again in 2009. It was such a great opportunity to learn about facial shape, form and Light/Shadow. I often do paintings for clients. Ive painted Pets, Celebraties and loved family members onto large Canvas's. I've also combined my uniqure cartooning style with my airbrushing and put on a couple of small exhibition at the North Shores 'Artspace' Gallery. Please look at the attachments below.
MUSIC:
I am the lead vocalist in a few musical projects. The main one being an Original Hardrock progresssive band called "Frozen Alice" and in a covers band called "Whitewash" playing rock/pop covers regularly at weddings, bars, parties and functions all over Auckland and Northland. I also play solo acoustic shows in bars and restaraunts all over Auckland. Although as much fun as it is, i hope to leave the covers world behind me and record an original solo album at the end of 2011.

In 2007 i graduated from Southseas with a Diploma in Directing and Script Writing, there i made a handful of short films. since then I have been working on various independant projects,

Currently I am a bar manager as my day job, and although its not my ideal proffession, its has given my great experience in delegation, customer service and running a team. But i hope to leave that as soon as possible to find a new job utilising my film, music, or painting skills. But mainly I just want to work in a much more creative enviroment!
- In May 2010 I painted 8 Portraits of famous kiwi musicians for an exhibition at Devonport’s ‘Artspace’. Tiki Tane, Tim and Neil Finn, Anika Moa, Brooke Fraser, Gin Wigmore, John Toogood and Bic Runga. In October 2010 I held another exhibition called “the Form of Mental State”. I used this as a challenge to myself to paint original artworks based on sketches I do in my own Style of surrealist cartooning and creature design. - In 2010 my band Frozen Alice ventured to Australia to headline some shows in Sydney and Melbourne, also we release our debut full length album "The Torino Scale" independantly and have recived some extreemly positive reviews both in NZ and overseas.
