Sarah Slattery
My name is Sarah Slattery. I graduated with an honours degree in Graphic Design in 2008 from Limerick School of Art and Design. Since then I have spent two years working in a print & design company in Ireland. Last May I decided to go travelling around Asia and after a few months I ended up in Wellington! Now I am looking forward to progressing my career in design and furthering my abilities. Some day, like most other designers, I hope to illustrate my own children's book! I love drawing in my spare time and I am rarely without a notebook full of random to-do lists!
I am proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (up to CS5) and I have working knowledge of Dreamweaver, Flash and Microsoft Office. I have a keen eye for detail and I also have experience with print finishing techniques.
In 2003 I commenced a one year Art Portfolio Preparation Course in Galway Technical Institute, Ireland. Afterwards I began a four year course in Limerick School of Art and Design, where I specialised in Graphic Design and graduated in 2008 with an honours degree. In 2010 I gained a diploma in Web Design in HSI, Limerick.

I worked as a Junior Designer in Lightning Print & Design Ltd., Carlow, Ireland for two years. I took jobs from the initial concept stages, through design,printing and then finishing.
