Programme Coordinator
National Youth Theatre
Mō mātou | About us
National Youth Theatre (NYT) is one of New Zealand's leading youth arts organisations, working with more than 1,500 young people each year through large-scale musical theatre programmes, workshops, outreach initiatives, and performance opportunities.
We believe in changing lives from the stage. Through our programmes, young people develop confidence, communication skills, creativity, resilience, and a genuine sense of belonging. While some participants go on to careers in the performing arts, many more take these skills into every area of life.
Based in Auckland, with programmes operating across Auckland, Hamilton, Christchurch and beyond, NYT combines open-access participation with professional production standards to create exceptional opportunities for young people throughout Aotearoa.
