Cornwall Park
Mō mātou | About us
Cornwall Park is more than just a park, it is 172 hectares of Aotearoa New Zealand’s living history. Weaving together heritage, ecology, agriculture, wildlife, mauri, and community within a lush landscape. Help us celebrate this community by taking over the park.

Band Rotunda Takeover
We're inviting musicians to take over the iconic Cornwall Park Band Rotunda this summer. This free concert series celebrates community talent and provides a platform for people of all ages and backgrounds to perform. Each performance will receive $1000 and an opportunity to sell their music or merchandise.
Gallery Takeover
We're also offering an artist or creative practitioner the opportunity to exhibit in the Lindo Ferguson Room at Huia Lodge Discovery Hub throughout February 2027. They can not only share their creativity but also sell their artworks commission-free and receive $1,000 toward exhibition costs. There are also opportunities to host paid workshops, talks, wānanga and demonstrations.
We're particularly keen to hear from emerging
artists, local performers, community groups and cultural organisations but both opportunities are open to all.
