Taitara Mahi – Exhibition Coordinator
We are looking for an Exhibition Coordinator who will manage the day to day coordination of the gallery’s exhibitions to ensure that the Hastings City Art Gallery maintains its reputation as one of New Zealand Aotearoa’s premier contemporary art galleries, you will be an integral member of the team making Gallery exhibition magic happen for the community to enjoy.
This is a part time Exhibition Coordinator role within the Hastings City Art Gallery, Hawkes Bay, working Monday to Friday (with occasional Saturday work a possibility), 30 hours per week with some flexibility.
The successful candidate will work with other galleries, artists, curators, and the Hastings City Art Gallery team, to ensure exhibitions are coordinated in a professional manner and open on time and to budget.
They will also have:

A recognised industry qualification or equivalent experience in a professional art gallery/museum situation

Sound experience in coordinating and supporting exhibitions

Project management experience
