Dr Jesse Austin Stewart
Dr Jesse Austin-Stewart (he/him) is a lecturer in Te Rewa o Puanga School of Music and Screen Arts at Te Kunenga ki Pūrehuroa Massey University, Aotearoa New Zealand. He is a disabled composer, producer, sound artist and researcher whose work looks at novel ways to explore access within existing systems.
Sam Morgan
Sam Morgan (Te Aitanga -a- Māhaki/Rongowhakaata) (he/him) is a tangata whaikaha Māori musician, producer, and disability advocate based in Pōneke. Sam has previously worked on media projects centred around creating conversations on disability and the arts and currently works for Disabled Persons Assembly NZ. His previous research explores disabled experiences in the live music sector in Aotearoa.
Dr Catherine Hoad
Dr Catherine Hoad (she/her) is a senior lecturer in Te Rewa o Puanga School of Music and Screen Arts at Te Kunenga ki Pūrehuroa Massey University, Aotearoa New Zealand. She co-leads the research project Amplify Aotearoa that seeks to enable better outcomes for women and non-binary folk in Aotearoa’s music communities, with a wider research focus on diversity, access, and inclusion in creative industries.
