Mark Amery is an arts journalist, producer and broadcaster. He was visual art critic and an editor at The Post, co-visual arts editor at The Spinoff and has written for many national and international publications, including The Listener. He is the former co-producer and presenter of RNZ's Culture 101 and former senior producer on RNZ's Saturday Morning with Kim Hill . A former director of Playmarket, he's worked over a range of national arts organisations and was co-director of radical public art organisation Letting Space, on which he co-authored the book Urgent Moments (Massey University Press) in 2023.
