ART TOY - EXHIBITION

ART TOY is a solo exhibition by Gene Harris (@WHATCHUPTU) celebrating the creativity, craftsmanship and imagination behind designer art toys. Inspired by cult films, classic cartoons, comic books and video games, the exhibition explores the intersection of pop culture and contemporary sculpture through handcrafted, limited-edition works.

Drawing on a background in animation and sculpture, Harris reinterprets familiar characters with a dark, witty and often mischievous twist. Each piece is meticulously sculpted, moulded and resin-cast, blurring the line between collectible designer toys and fine art. Alongside Harris' work, the exhibition features selected pieces by international guest artists Oleksandr Redka, Phuong Tran and Ryan B Soto, showcasing the diversity and innovation of the global art toy community.
