Eden Arts Art Schools Award 2026

Launched in 2011 and generously hosted by Webb's Mt Eden since 2019, the annual Eden Arts Award brings together the Central Auckland tertiary art institutions in one single exhibition. Five undergraduates are nominated by each school - AUT, Elam, Unitec and Whitecliffe - and invited to submit work which is then judged (anonymously) by an independent judging panel appointed by the Eden Arts Trust. Up to $9000 in prize money is on offer to selected students.

The award exhibition promises an exciting and true glimpse into the art practices of tomorrow's generation of artists. There will be an artist talk in the gallery on Monday 26 October at 1pm. Everyone welcome!
