'Floribunda', a botanical art exhibition

'Floribunda' - Abundant Flowering

Flora, Roman goddess of flowers invites us to share their beauty and the beauty of the plants that give them to us, through art.

From the shy violet, largely unnoticed under foot, to the brash and colourful climbing rose, the elegant lily, the soft fern and spiky grass, the shine of rain-wet leaves, the delicate  blossom of peach and plum to flaming rata and pohutukawa they provide a haven and nourishment for wildlife and bring pleasure that we all can share.

Celebrate this beauty at the exhibition of works by the Friends of Auckland Botanic Gardens Art Group,

When - Open daily 8am - 4pm, from Saturday, August 1st to Sunday, September 13th

Works are for sale so your pleasure can be extended well beyond the exhibition and into your home.

Meet the Artists - each weekend will see exhibiting artists and members of the art group manning the gallery  from 9.30am - 3.30pm.
