Fergus Aitken (is probably ok...)

TW: includes themes of mental health; addiction; suicide

A return to the stand-up stage for one of the capital’s finest. Fergus Aitken returns to Christchurch with his first full show since the life-altering event of his son’s death last year.

This is going to be a refreshed selection of Fergus’s gold material, with a whole lotta recent musings and revelations, on life, death, joy and grief. Expect the usual blur of silliness with an attempt to include some new perspectives on what really matters, being alive.

Fergus won an award for comedy in the Netherlands and was twice voted Favourite MC at the NZ Burlesque Industry Awards. He’s had standing ovations at a nudist festival and once made a room full of psychotherapists laugh until they cried…
