PARADISE — GROUP ART EXHIBITION

This June, Studio One Toi Tū is set to host PARADISE group art exhibition. Running from June 08 — June 11 2026, PARADISE is an invitation to examine and better understand our shared heritage, New Zealand's changing cultural identity and deep personal storytelling through the lens of the artistic. This highly-anticipated event will feature new works from artists Ahsin Ahsin, Ali Selliman, Ashton Wastney and Jack Gatasa.

PARADISE brings together a culturally rich and dynamic group of contemporary artists and creatives, whose works reconnect with stories from their past — sometimes fragmented, sometimes overlapping, sometimes reimagined. The works employ visual storytelling, sewn pattern-making and bold figurative statements. Through colour, form, and material, each artist offers a personal lens on what “paradise” means within their lived experience; layered, complex, and deeply personal.
