A mother, a daughter, a son, and one evening that changes nothing and everything. Tennessee Williams drew on his own family to write The Glass Menagerie, and it shows — the narrator is also a character, already carrying the weight of what happens next.

Williams wrote this in 1944. It was his first major success, before A Streetcar Named Desire, before Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and it remains the play people who love his work tend to come back to.

Foolish Wit Theatre brings this to the PumpHouse's intimate main stage. Directed by James Bell, with Taku Chiketa as Tom, Shivaun Statham as Amanda, Tash Allen as Laura, and Chris Wheeler as Jim. Design by Julia Rutherford, costumes by Aaria Harrison-Sparke.

Equity pricing available. This is a profit-share production.
