About No.3 Roskill Theatre Trust
No.3 Roskill Theatre Trust works to support young creatives in our community through engagement with performance arts, and exposure to an accessible safe local creative space.
About the Space
Location
Located at street level on a prominent corner of iconic Dominion Road, the theatre is highly visible and accessible via major bus routes, making it well-positioned for public-facing activity.
Facilities
- Main theatre space (80sqm), carpeted, with theatre drapes (street level)
- Small office/production area on the same level
- Wheelchair-accessible bathroom (street-level)
- Wardrobe/back-of-house area
- Separate street-level office
- Downstairs newly refurbished kitchen
- Basement room (5.6m x 4.6m, low ceiling) suitable for breakout sessions, rehearsal, meetings, or storage
- Additional downstairs bathroom
Capacity
The main theatre space has a recommended maximum capacity of 80 people. Operating hours are negotiable.
Amenities
Pre-rigged black theatre drapes on truss, staging sections, seating, fibre internet connection, storage areas, filtered water, and accessible facilities.
Programme Overview
We Are Seeking a Tenant Who:
- Has a clear creative vision for how they would utilise and activate the space
- Demonstrates the ability to operate sustainably (artistically and financially)
- Has experience delivering arts, cultural, educational, or community-focused initiatives
- Values collaboration and is open to engaging with other creatives and the local community
- Will contribute positively to the character and reputation of No.3 Roskill Theatre
We are particularly interested in proposals that foster participation, support emerging practitioners, or build creative pathways within the Mt Roskill community.
