Marketing Coordinator Kairuruku Whakatairanga
The Auckland Festival Trust

Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role
As Marketing Coordinator, you’ll support the roll-out of marketing activity and play a critical role in ensuring campaigns are executed, deadlines across the team are met, assets are supplied on time, and information on our website and across Festival channels remains accurate and up to date.
While you don’t necessarily need to be competent in all things marketing, it’s crucial you bring organisational and administrative experience to coordinate multiple projects, and understand the role of social media, email, websites, and outreach within marketing planning and schedules.
As you’ll be supported by design, video and content specialists, execution of creative is not a requirement — though we’re always open to someone who may have these skills or is willing to assist and be hands on with content creation. Being able to work collaboratively with the team in the briefing and delivery of campaign assets is also an important aspect of the role.
Based in our central Auckland office, no two days will be the same. You’ll need a calm head and the ability to effectively manage a varied and sometimes pressured workload as the team approaches important milestones such as the programme launch, the opening of the Festival, and our manaakitanga towards artists and audiences joining us in March.
The role is a full-time, fixed-term position, commencing late September 2026.
