LIMA Productions Trust is a charity dedicated to Improving Pasifika lives in Aotearoa through education, arts, cultural sustainability, and fostering resilience. We provide mentorship, training, resources, information and performance opportunities to empower Pasifika and preserve cultural heritage and creativity for public benefit.

LIMA is 100% Pasefika-owned and run by arts industry professionals.

Join us on this new journey to develop stronger knowledge, skills, and experience in Theatre and Dance Producing.

Have you struggled to get your work up, navigate funding and budgets, create a production plan, meet health and safety requirements, understand and draft contracts, create tech riders, understand APRA, and manage varying relationships? Then this is for you!

LIMA PRODUCTIONS TRUST presents 🌺TA'IALA: The Producers programme🌺

 A FREE 18-Week Online Theatre & Dance Producers Programme

15 June – 26 October 2026

 **This programme is co-led by senior producers Li'amānaia Tupe Lualua and Olivia Taouma, and administered by Elena Lome.**

 TA'IALA: The Producers programme empowers and enables Pasifika artists in Aotearoa to take charge of their creative futures as PRODUCERS. This bold, future-focused initiative is designed to elevate producing expertise in Theatre & Dance, ignite business acumen, and inspire confident creative leadership.

 Plus — every participant receives FREE one-year access to professional creative resources (Canva and Grammarly) to support your arts journey.

📚 Programme Structure

10 Weeks of Online Learning - 1 live session per week

🗓 Monday's | 6.00pm – 7.45pm ONLINE

2-Week Programme Break for Matariki

Final 8 Weeks – Mentoring Phase on a Theatre or Dance project, you will be matched with an experienced Producer mentor to work on your project.

🌊 Who Should Apply?

To be eligible you must:

• Be aged 22+
• Be of Pacific descent
• Be living in Aotearoa
• Be a New Zealand resident or citizen
• Hold a recognised performing arts qualification and/or have relevant industry experience (includes heritage arts)

• Plus, at least 2 years’ experience in the performing arts (outside of study)

• Have access to a laptop/iPad/PC device and reliable internet

** Have a Theatre or Dance project ready to go or working towards producing in 2026/2027

**Most importantly — be ready to show up and do the work!

Spaces are limited to 10 people.
