Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role

We are seeking an empathetic and energetic all-rounder to join our high-performing team as a Creative Career Advisor.

In this role, you will help deliver our innovative career development and employment programme. Ideally, you bring a background in recruitment and/or career development and have relationships with employers in the creative sector.

This is a challenging and highly rewarding role that demands quick thinking, strong organisational skills and the ability to work confidently with diverse creatives who have varied needs. Above all, we seek someone passionate about empowering individuals and connecting them with employers to achieve sustainable and meaningful employment.

Our mission is to help creatives find meaningful employment by building their resilience and confidence while imparting lifelong personal, job-seeking, and professional skills.

We offer a robust and engaging programme that includes workshops, mentoring (with external industry experts), and career coaching in a safe and supportive environment.

We are looking for someone who demonstrates a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Te Ao Māori (or a willingness to grow in this space), with a proactive approach to embedding inclusive, culturally responsive practice. We welcome applicants with lived experience or experience working alongside diverse communities, including Māori and Pasifika, queer and gender-diverse people, people of colour, immigrant communities, neurodivergent and disabled people, and those experiencing unemployment.

If this opportunity excites you, apply below.

Conveniently located near the Devonport ferry (5-minute walk). Hybrid options available, with a requirement to be on-site 3–4 days per week.
