Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role
This is a high-trust, sole-charge role delivering structured art sessions in schools and holiday programmes.
You will be responsible for managing groups of up to 13 children, following lesson plans, and maintaining a safe, engaging environment at all times.
Opportunities include:
July School Holiday Programme (starting 5th July)
Term 3 After School Programme (starting mid–late July)
What this role requires:
Consistent reliability (early, prepared, and dependable)
Confidence managing children independently
Clear, prompt communication
Ability to follow processes exactly (especially safety-related)
Initiative and problem-solving without supervision
All lesson plans and materials are provided.
Onboarding expectations:
Our onboarding process is structured and time-sensitive.
All steps must be completed within required timeframes (including a 72-hour onboarding window and full completion 1 week prior to your first shift).
Your performance during onboarding reflects your suitability for the role.
