Step into our welcoming community art gallery in the heart of Huapai, Northwest Auckland. We’re an inclusive space dedicated to showcasing the work of both emerging and established artists, offering a vibrant mix of exhibitions that inspire and connect. Kumeū Arts is proud to host regular live music concerts showcasing local and international artists. Join our regular classes and workshops, explore our thoughtfully curated shop, and immerse yourself in the creative energy of our latest displays.

Now in its 10th year, the Kumeū Arts Awards celebrate creativity and artistic excellence, giving artists the opportunity to have their work exhibited and compete for a fantastic range of prizes.
Get ready to submit an image of your artwork along with your artwork details when entries open.
Important Dates
Entries: 1–14 September 2026
Awards Night: Saturday 31 October 2026, 4–6pm
Exhibition: 2–26 November 2026
Top Prize
The Supreme Winner will receive a prize package valued at $2,190, including:
- $1,000 cash
- A 2-night stay for 1 or 2 people at Bethells Beach Cottages, valued at $690
- $500 Frames by Daniel voucher
